Introduction

Recently, Nuage Networks has extended its Software-Defined Networking (SDN) platform to include Hyper-V support. As such, VXLAN overlay networks can be stretched across KVM, VMware, Hyper-V hypervisors and hardware VTEPs – all provisioned out of the same network policy system.

In this post, we are going to look how the Nuage Networks SDN for Hyper-V integration looks like, and we will demonstrate how to network across a heterogeneous environment of Hyper-V, KVM, VMware and Bare Metal end-points.
