Nokia partner IBM will be holding their largest user conference, IBM InterConnect, next month, March 19-23, in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Resort. On Wednesday, March 22. I will be presenting a talk titled, “Automating Hybrid Cloud Networking within and across Enterprise Data Centers, Branches and Clouds”, at 9:00 AM. [Update 3/6: The presentation will now be delivered by Toshal Dudhwala, Business Development Manager, Nuage Networks.]
The talk will focus on achieving seamless network automation across the entire cloud, from on-premises data centers, WAN locations and public cloud providers, to achieve on-demand cloud services and application connectivity.
As a software-based, overlay network solution, enterprises can use any existing network connectivity, hardware, hypervisor/container, and cloud management system from any vendor. It can all be managed from a single pane of glass with comprehensive, network-wide, policy-based automation and security that accelerates deployment times and reduces operational and management complexity and costs. This presentation includes examples of joint IBM-Nokia enterprise and service provider use cases, while showcasing the live demo environment deployed in the IBM Network Innovation Centers’ labs.
IBM Interconnect is designed to educate users on the latest innovations and technologies affecting enterprises, including cloud architectures, the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence, and cognitive processes. Nuage Networks and Nokia are taking an active leadership role in advancing cloud and IoT technology.
